Storage of Corrosive Chemicals including acids, bases, toxic, poison, and hazardous materials.
Protect workers, reduce fire risks, and improve productivity by storing flammable fuels and chemicals in code-compliant flammable storage safety cabinets. Designed to meet OSHA and NFPA standards, our Corrosive Liquid Storage Cabinet 45 Gallon / 170 Litre is constructed to store corrosive chemicals including acids, bases, toxic, poison, and hazardous materials.
Laboratories and research environments handle many different types of chemicals on a regular basis. Certain aggressive acids, bases, or solvents may require special storage
considerations due to their corrosive properties.
Our safety cabinets for corrosives in labs provide the confidence to store chemicals in labs without the fear of corrosion. All the SAI-U® safety storage cabinets are made of 1.2mm high-quality galvanized steel sheet and painted with epoxy-polyester powder, which not only gives a firm structure to the products but also provides very strong corrosion resistance. The sides, top, bottom, and doors are double-walled with a 38 mm air space between walls Includes two fireproof vents. Stainless steel anti-corrosion hinges allow the door to open 180-degree angle. High-performance manual doors on flammable storage cabinets close easily and securely for maximum protection under fire conditions.
STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE
SAI-U® FM Standard Safety Cabinets have earned both FM and CE Certification, and meet the OSHA 29 CER 1910.106 standard set by the United States Occupation Safety and Health Administration(OSHA), the NFPA 30 standard set by the American National Fire Protection Association(NFPA) as well as the Regulations on the Safety Administration of Dangerous Chemicals set by China State Administration of Work Safety.

- “FM APPROVED” by FM Global, and
- Those listed as meeting NFPA 30, “Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code.”
Prince Edward Island (Check NFPA 1 in case there is a different standard for materials with a specific hazard (e.g., peroxides)):
- NFPA 1 Fire Code (2021) - Section 60.5.1.18 “Hazardous Materials Storage Cabinets” and Section 66.9.4 “Liquid Storage Cabinets,”
- NFPA 400 (2022) (cited in NFPA 1) – Section 21.2.17 “Gas Cabinets,”
